Job Description
Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- We require eligibility for NPPV3 and SC security clearance during the engagement.
- We require you to be eligible for the security clearances needed for this role.
- Strong experience in data modelling, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise platforms.
- Experience developing GraphQL APIs, schemas, and resolvers.
- Experience integrating GraphQL services with enterprise databases and data platforms.
- Strong SQL skills for validation, transformation, profiling, and reporting.
- Experience working across complex ETL and ELT environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Experience with data quality, privacy, regulatory, and governance requirements.
- Ability to optimise API, query, and database performance.
- Experience implementing authentication, authorisation, and security controls for services.
- Strong documentation and solution design skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, analysts, engineers, governance specialists, and business stakeholders.
- We design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms.
- We develop scalable and reusable data models that support analytical and operational business requirements.
- We design data structures across complex ETL and ELT environments from raw ingestion through to curated and consumption layers.
- We maintain enterprise metadata, data dictionaries, and business glossaries.
- We ensure consistent application of enterprise data standards and governance frameworks.
- We design, develop, and maintain GraphQL APIs, schemas, and resolvers.
- We integrate GraphQL services with enterprise databases and data platforms.
- We optimise API and query performance to support scalable, high-performing applications.
- We implement authentication, authorisation, and security controls for GraphQL services.
- We support enterprise data governance initiatives, including metadata management and data lineage programmes.
- We ensure compliance with data quality, privacy, regulatory, and governance requirements.
- We support the implementation and maintenance of enterprise data catalogues and governance tooling.
- We develop advanced SQL solutions for data validation, transformation, profiling, and reporting.
- We optimise database performance and support governance-focused analytics requirements.
- We collaborate with architects, business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- We participate in design workshops, architecture reviews, and technical governance activities.
- We produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, data models, and solution designs.
