Data Centre Engineer/Analyst Ops

Salary: £36,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Data centre operations experience
• Experience with installation and de-installation of IT hardware
• Experience using DCIM tools such as Nlyte or similar
• ITIL knowledge
• Experience with change and incident management
• Experience with IT asset audits
• Knowledge of data centre electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators and cooling
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including compute, storage and networking
• A full driving licence and access to a personal vehicle due to regular travel between multiple UK locations

Responsibilities:

• Help maintain the safe, secure and reliable operation of a multi-site data centre estate
• Support operational activities across critical infrastructure
• Assist with capacity management
• Support audits and incident response
• Work closely with technical teams, suppliers and stakeholders
• Help ensure data centre environments remain compliant, efficient and resilient
• Support ongoing operational improvements

We are supporting a major technology programme for a 6–12 month contract Data Centre Analyst role based in Wokingham with hybrid working and travel required. This is a hands-on opportunity to work across critical infrastructure in a multi-site data centre estate, with an excellent day rate available. We work closely with technical teams, suppliers and stakeholders and are looking for someone who can help us maintain compliant, efficient and resilient data centre environments.
