Cyber Security Consultancy Practice Lead

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for strong experience in cyber security advisory and consulting.
• We need proven experience delivering cyber services for public sector clients.
• We need demonstrable ability to win work and grow a pipeline.
• We are looking for someone comfortable operating at both board and delivery level.
• We require certification commensurate with the level of experience, such as UK CSC Principal or Chartered (Audit and Assurance), CIIsec Full Member or Fellow.
• We need in-depth knowledge of NCSC CAF, Cyber Essentials, cyber governance, and adjacent standards such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, and DSPT.
• We are looking for familiarity with public sector frameworks, routes to market, and the Procurement Act 2023.

Responsibilities:

• We will rely on you to lead and evolve our Cyber Security advisory offering.
• You will own our cyber strategy, service roadmap, and commercial plan.
• You will drive sales, pipeline ownership and development, and market visibility.
• You will act as a senior cyber advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
• You will define and refine the Cyber Security services we offer.
• You will define and manage routes to market and framework bids and responses.
• You will ensure our services align with NCSC guidance and market expectations.
• You will act as the senior authority for cyber matters within our organisation.
• You will support progression towards NCSC Cyber Resilience Audit provider status.
• You will lead and deliver cyber engagements including NCSC CAF and Cyber Essentials assessments.
• You will develop cyber security strategies, roadmaps, and improvement plans.
• You will provide trusted cyber advice to senior leaders and boards.
• You will translate cyber risk into clear, pragmatic, business-focused guidance.
• You will lead executive briefings, workshops, and assurance activities.
• You will grow our Cyber Security pipeline and revenue.
• You will identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities across public and private sectors.
• You will represent us in the market and be comfortable with public speaking.
• You will work with our marketing team to shape and deliver cyber campaigns.
• You will lead cyber elements of bids, proposals, and client presentations.
• You will help build our reputation as a trusted Cyber Security Advisor.
• You will mentor consultants contributing to cyber delivery.
• You will define repeatable delivery approaches and high-quality outputs.
• You will support internal capability development as the service grows.

This is a senior and influential role that combines cyber leadership, client advisory delivery, and commercial responsibility.
