Business Analyst

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a background in IT and business transformation projects.
• We need experience in requirements gathering and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
• We need strong business process mapping and process improvement skills.
• We need experience writing user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• We need experience with data analysis, reporting and dashboard requirements.
• We need experience supporting data migration, system implementation or transformation projects.
• We need experience planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• We need experience working in Agile, DevOps and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
• We need proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Visio and Excel.
• We need excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in hospitality, retail or service-based organisations would be an advantage.
• Exposure to ERP, CRM, POS or enterprise business systems would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools would be beneficial.
• BCS, IIBA or Agile certifications would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• We facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders to understand business needs.
• We define project scope, objectives and business requirements.
• We produce user stories, use cases, process maps and functional specifications.
• We analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• We create process flows, data flow diagrams and system interaction models.
• We support data migration activities, including mapping, validation and reconciliation.
• We work with Solution Architects and technical teams to shape effective solutions.
• We define reporting, dashboard and KPI requirements with business stakeholders.
• We prepare test scenarios, acceptance criteria and UAT scripts.
• We coordinate User Acceptance Testing and support business users through testing.
• We assist with deployment planning, cutover activities and post-go-live support.
• We collaborate with developers, QA and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
