Requirements:
  • Strong proven knowledge of Azure services such as Entra ID, App Services, Storage, Backups, Conditional Access, Front Door, and Load Balancers.
  • Experience in Windows Server administration, including IIS, Update Management, and performance troubleshooting through log analysis.
  • Experience with O365 Suite administration, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint.
  • Strong networking experience across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and Azure networking, including routing, firewalls, and network peering.
  • Experience using automation tools for regular activities, such as Tines, N8N, Zapier, Power Automate, and PowerShell.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at varying technical levels.
  • Strong technical knowledge with an aptitude for learning.
  • Strong documentation skills to ensure solutions are documented to a high standard.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards, including experience in an ISO 27001 certified environment.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools to deploy Infrastructure as Code into Azure, including ARM or Bicep templates and YAML pipelines.
  • Strong SharePoint experience.
  • Familiarity with mail flow and security solutions such as ProofPoint and ONDMARC.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as telecoms, financial services, or utilities.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence for work management and documentation.

We are hiring an Azure Infrastructure Engineer for a 3-month contract on an outside IR35 basis, offering £425 per day. This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham, UK.
