Application Support Analyst

Salary: £25,948 - 25,948 per year

Requirements:

• We want proven experience in a customer service, IT support or helpdesk environment.
• We need strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
• We need the ability to investigate problems, identify solutions and manage competing priorities effectively.
• We are looking for excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• We need strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• We want the ability to learn new applications, technologies and processes quickly.
• We value a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• A Level 2 qualification or equivalent, including Maths and English, is required.
• Experience supporting applications such as LCS, Mosaic, Confirm or Spydus would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities:

• We manage support requests and incidents to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and within agreed service levels.
• We monitor the team mailbox and prioritise incoming queries to deliver an effective support service.
• We investigate application issues and identify appropriate solutions, escalating where required.
• We work closely with third-party suppliers, colleagues and business users to resolve complex issues and maintain service quality.
• We manage user accounts and access permissions to support secure access to business systems.
• We keep accurate records of incidents, requests and resolutions using support systems and processes.
• We support application testing activities and assist with system improvements and upgrades.
• We contribute to support documentation, knowledge articles and operational procedures to improve service delivery.
• We ensure compliance with GDPR, information governance requirements and security procedures.
