AI Strategist

Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or PhD is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in AI, data science, or related technology roles, including at least 2 years in a strategic or leadership position.
• Proven track record of developing and executing AI strategies in a business context.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, data analytics, and their practical business applications.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and projects.
• Knowledge of AI ethics, privacy, and regulatory considerations.
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and articulate a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with our business goals.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for AI adoption across departments and business units.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI use cases, business requirements, and success metrics.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and trends, and recommend opportunities for adoption or investment.
• Oversee the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions, ensuring ethical use and regulatory compliance.
• Work with our data science, engineering, and product teams to ensure AI initiatives are feasible and scalable.
• Lead change management initiatives to foster an AI-first culture.
• Develop partnerships with external vendors, research institutions, and industry consortia as needed.
• Monitor and report on the impact of AI initiatives, adjusting our strategy based on outcomes and feedback.
• Advocate for responsible AI practices and promote AI literacy across our organization.
