Salary: £41,000 - 41,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • 12+ years of relevant industry or field experience.
  • Proven cybersecurity leadership experience owning cybersecurity strategy and operational outcomes as a CISO, deputy CISO, or equivalent leader; able to engage senior executives, explain cyber risk in business terms, and facilitate strategic risk discussions and decisions.
  • Deep technology leadership experience leading enterprise cybersecurity programs and translating emerging technologies—such as Agentic AI, Zero Trust, Post-Quantum Cryptography, and Continuous Threat Exposure Management—into strategic business roadmaps.
  • Leadership experience across the enterprise AI lifecycle, such as securing AI systems, integrating AI into cybersecurity workflows, establishing AI governance, or managing AI risk.
  • Fluency in major global cybersecurity regulations and frameworks, such as the NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, NIS2, DORA, and the EU AI Act.
  • Broad knowledge of the cybersecurity marketplace, major technology platforms, market dynamics, capability mapping, and vendor portfolio consolidation.
  • Executive presence and the ability to establish credibility with executives and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent research, writing, analytical, presentation, and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize data, apply frameworks, defend conclusions, and explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Subject-matter expertise and confidence speaking at events of varying sizes.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape in the subject area.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural, global environment; learning agility and comfort navigating matrixed organizations.
  • Ability to represent our research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, where applicable.
Responsibilities:
  • Create innovative, thought-provoking, highly leveraged insights and develop actionable ideas that help clients address their needs and move forward.
  • Analyze client challenges and needs to identify root causes, reframe thinking, and advance strategy.
  • Establish thought leadership and research positions across a team of analysts, and bring independent insights to our leaders to inform research agendas.
  • Research, analyze, and anticipate market trends and shifts, providing actionable insights to clients and vendors.
  • Advise clients and prospects in the designated content area through virtual and in-person interactions.
  • Create and deliver high-value presentations at our events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefings.
  • Support our Insights teams and Sales organization by sharing market perspectives, developing content, and engaging clients on their critical priorities.
  • Provide timely, high-quality peer reviews of content.
  • Represent our insights, methodology, and strategy as an industry expert.
  • Participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating with colleagues across our Insights community.
  • Identify improvements to research processes and develop new approaches that support excellent service delivery.
  • Mentor and coach more junior team members.
  • Prioritize clients and encourage their regular engagement with our insights and interactions.
