IT Support Engineer

Salary: £32,000 - 38,000 per year

Requirements:

• Confident communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Practical experience supporting users with common IT issues, such as helpdesk or desktop support
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm when priorities change
• A methodical approach to logging, updating records and following service processes
• Motivation to learn, improve and help reduce recurring issues

Responsibilities:

• Triage and resolve user IT issues, including access problems, software concerns and hardware faults
• Provide step-by-step support through tickets and user communications
• Maintain accurate service records and clearly document updates
• Support routine onboarding and basic IT setup for colleagues
• Escalate complex incidents when needed and remain accountable for progress
• Share recurring issue trends and practical fixes to support continuous improvement
