Project Lead – Enterprise AI Integration

Salary: £35,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Practical experience with LLMs and enterprise generative AI, RAG and enterprise search, AI agents and workflow automation, APIs and system integration, Microsoft 365/SharePoint, identity and permissions, security and data governance, or evaluating AI tools and suppliers.
• Experience delivering AI or technology in real business environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and take ownership.
• A background in AI consulting, solutions architecture, AI engineering, technical product, automation, or digital transformation may be relevant.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of a programme to build a new enterprise AI capability across a group of established businesses in Cornwall.
• Work with senior leaders, internal teams, technology partners, and specialist advisers.
• Challenge suppliers, make sound technical decisions, and assess whether to build, configure, buy, or avoid buying solutions.
• Help create a secure, practical AI environment connecting people, company knowledge, AI models, and business processes across multiple organisations.

We are seeking a hands-on AI Project Lead / Integration Lead for a predominantly on-site role at a client campus in Cornwall. The salary is £75,000–£90,000+ depending on experience, with accommodation and vehicle support available, as well as potential performance and longer-term participation. This is an opportunity to build an enterprise AI capability from an early stage, work directly with businesses and users, and potentially help develop the model into a wider commercial proposition. The role is focused on creating a secure, practical AI environment rather than simply rolling out an off-the-shelf product.
