Job Description

Salary: £39,000 - 62,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Interest in building research platforms, including hardware, networking, security hardening, and monitoring
  • Strong advocacy for building systems correctly and providing secure, highly resilient systems and services
  • Specialisation in two or more of the following: security hardening, HPC systems, ISO 27001 certification, secrets management, auditing/monitoring, privileged access management, network security, Kubernetes security, or trusted research environments
Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and secure the computational software and infrastructure that drives our research
  • Provide guidance on cyber-security best practice to colleagues across our Data Science, Research Software Engineering, and Research Infrastructure Development teams
