Cloud Platform Engineering Placement Programme

Salary: £26,000 - 26,000 per year

Requirements:

• Were looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, brings fresh ideas to a team, and is motivated to make a difference.
• You should have some experience working in an operations environment and an interest in learning about cloud technologies and containerisation.
• You must be in the second year of a degree that includes a year in industry and be ready to start a placement in July 2027.
• You must be able to work from our London office at least three days a week.
• You should have some experience using the command line and be interested in developing your skills further.
• You should have an interest in scripting and some experience with Java or Python through study, projects, or personal learning.
• You should be interested in software development and have some awareness of methodologies such as Agile.

Responsibilities:

• Support, maintain, and improve our highly scalable and reliable cloud platform infrastructure services.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of our Cloud Platform and help ensure its availability.
• Contribute to monitoring and support activities within our run squad.
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities that enhance the services we offer.

Our Platform Services team keeps our cloud platforms available for customers and works in agile run and build squads, with team members rotating between day-to-day monitoring and support and service improvement.
