Principal Solutions Architect, Technology Sales Lead (AWS)

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical consulting, with senior client-facing credibility.
• We require deep hands-on AWS expertise and a track record of delivered projects.
• We require a strong record of leading demos and proof-of-concepts that win competitive pursuits.
• We require command of enterprise architecture patterns and the judgment to apply them.
• We require experience in a Global Systems Integrator, agency, or professional services environment.
• Preferred: AWS certifications, including Solutions Architect Professional and specialty certifications in areas such as machine learning or data analytics.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and generative AI implementations.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and advertising technology.
• Preferred: Prior experience at an AWS partner company or directly with AWS.
• Preferred: Experience supporting co-sell motions with AWS field teams.
• Preferred: Familiarity with vertical compliance.
• We value technical depth across generative AI, data and analytics, customer experience, modern applications, and integration, including services and patterns such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon Marketing Cloud, AWS Clean Rooms, Amazon Personalize, Amazon Connect, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, containers, event-driven architectures, microservices, and API design.

Responsibilities:

• We rely on this role to provide senior technical leadership on priority AWS co-sell opportunities, set technical win strategies, lead client-facing deep dives alongside AWS Solutions Architects, and address objections in competitive deals.
• We expect this role to design reference architectures for joint AWS solutions, contribute to AWS Partner Central, and establish reusable patterns for delivery teams.
• We expect this role to scope and lead proof-of-concept work that demonstrates our capabilities and shapes prototypes into production systems.
• We expect this role to build trusted relationships with AWS Solutions Architects, Specialist Solutions Architects, and ProServe teams.
• We rely on this role to advise our leadership and client leadership on AWS architecture strategy, stay ahead of AWS roadmaps in priority services, and set the technical bar as the alliance grows.
• We expect this role to mentor delivery teams and shape technical standards while primarily supporting strategic pursuits that grow the alliance.
