Digital DevOps & Release Manager
Job Description
Salary: £54,000 - 86,000 per year
Requirements:- Degree in Software Engineering is nice to have.
- Previous experience working as a DevOps Manager, DevOps Lead or Lead Engineer, with experience managing and developing technical teams.
- Strong experience with GitHub and CI/CD, with a good understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery and automated testing.
- A good technical understanding of scripting and configuration, ideally including Bash, Python and YAML, together with experience of cloud technologies.
- Experience working within Agile environments, supporting developers and teams to improve the way they build, test and release software.
- A degree-level qualification in Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Lead and manage a team of four DevOps Engineers, including an offshore team, providing direction, support and oversight of technical decisions and activities.
- Take technical ownership for the design and ongoing development of our DevOps and CI/CD environment, ensuring it is scalable, secure and supports efficient software delivery.
- Coordinate releases across multiple teams and technologies, supporting the Agile Release Train and ensuring changes are appropriately approved before being released into production.
- Work closely with developers, test managers, IT Operations and project teams, providing support on GitHub, deployment processes and DevOps-related queries.
- Help us continuously improve our release processes, governance, automation and deployment standards across platforms including MuleSoft and Salesforce.
