Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance production-grade Python AI applications and chatbot capabilities
• Build and improve RAG pipelines, retrieval, and document search
• Extend LlamaIndex agents, workflows, retrievers, and tool-calling capabilities
• Integrate LLMs, APIs, databases, and structured organisational data
• Improve AI answer quality, citations, performance, security, and reliability
• Deliver well-tested, documented code and support technical handover

We are hiring a Python / Applied AI Engineer on a 3-month contract, working remotely inside IR35. We need support building an AI chatbot using Python and LlamaIndex. The role involves working with modern AI and search technologies including Azure AI Foundry/OpenAI, Typesense, PostgreSQL, and Plotly Dash.
