2nd Line Support Analyst

Salary: £30,000 - 42,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a minimum of 3 years experience in a 2nd Line Support, Service Desk, or IT Support role.
• We require strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server.
• We require strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD.
• We require strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
• We require strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• We require strong knowledge of Azure.
• We require strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and networking fundamentals.
• We require experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware virtualisation.
• We require excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• We require strong communication and customer service skills.
• We require the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• We require a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• We would prefer experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• We would prefer experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• We would prefer PowerShell scripting experience.
• We would prefer relevant Microsoft or infrastructure certifications.

Responsibilities:

• We provide 2nd line technical support and take ownership of incidents through to resolution.
• We troubleshoot and resolve escalated hardware, software, server, networking, and cloud-related issues.
• We administer and support Windows Server environments.
• We manage Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• We support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure services.
• We monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• We perform system maintenance including patch management, firmware updates, and security reviews.
• We support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• We maintain accurate technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• We assist with IT projects, upgrades, deployments, and migrations.
• We liaise with third-party vendors where required.
• We participate in an out-of-hours support rota.

We are offering a permanent, full-time 2nd Line IT Support Analyst opportunity based in Bexley, with a salary of £30,000 to £42,000 per annum depending on experience.
