Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Practical experience in Oracle ERP/Finance Transformation programmes, with strong experience across Oracle Projects/Project Financial Management processes.
  • Strong finance business process and functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud applications.
  • Proven experience leading or managing Oracle Projects functional design and delivery, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Control, project accounting and capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end Project Financial Management process, from project setup and planning through cost capture, cost allocation, billing, revenue recognition, capitalisation, accounting and reconciliation to General Ledger.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Project Management/Project Financial Management, particularly Project Costing, Project Billing and Project Control, with practical experience designing and delivering Oracle solutions.
  • Good understanding of different project and commercial models, including internal, customer/contract-funded and capital projects, and how these impact project costing, billing, revenue, capitalisation and accounting.
  • Experience working with upstream and downstream integrations across Procurement, Expenses, Time & Labour, Payroll, Fixed Assets, General Ledger and operational/project systems, with the ability to define functional integration requirements and understand their impact on end-to-end solutions.
  • Ability to identify process improvement, simplification and automation opportunities across Project Financial Management and contribute to shaping the target-state process and solution.
  • Practical understanding of AI and Generative AI capabilities within Finance and ERP, with the ability to identify relevant use cases across Project Financial Management that can improve automation, productivity, controls and user experience.
  • Proven experience across the end-to-end Oracle ERP implementation lifecycle, with practical experience applying delivery methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall to successfully manage functional design, build, testing, deployment and transition to go-live.
  • Experience facilitating client workshops, design sessions and playback sessions, engaging effectively with Finance, business and technology stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage functional design activities including requirements, design decisions, dependencies, risks and issues, escalating significant architectural or programme decisions where appropriate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate process and solution designs to both business and technical audiences.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Technology and other functional workstreams.
  • Ability to travel when essential.

  • Desirable: experience managing expectations and delivering successful projects.
  • Desirable: Oracle certifications.
  • Desirable: experience in a consulting environment.
