Junior Technical Project Manager
Job Description
Salary: £45,500 - 73,500 per year
Requirements:- We ideally want end-to-end project or programme management experience, preferably within a technology or financial services environment.
- We want proven experience working directly with Engineering and Product teams to deliver complex technical solutions, ideally including software-as-a-service.
- We need a hands-on, adaptable approach to programme delivery, with the ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment where priorities can shift.
- We are looking for excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical topics.
- We value strong interpersonal skills and creative problem-solving ability to navigate ambiguity and technical hurdles.
- We need technical skills and the ability to talk confidently with Product and Engineering teams.
- Strong experience working on cards projects is highly desirable.
- We will ask you to manage and coordinate a technical programme, overseeing a portfolio of multiple complex, inter-dependent projects.
- We need you to act as the key bridge between Engineering, Clients, and our Delivery partners.
- You will work closely with Engineering Leads to support the Software Development Lifecycle, understand dependencies and complexities, and coordinate work across multiple teams.
- You will support Product and Engineering to produce an achievable plan.
- You will work with Product Leads to maintain a clear, real-time understanding of client competing needs against our internal capacity.
- You will proactively identify risks of over-commitment to ensure realistic delivery timelines.
- You will own relationships with external parties such as vendors and payment schemes.
- You will ensure service is provided to a high standard and hold external parties accountable where they play a key role in project delivery.
- You will provide reporting and metrics for delivery progress and tracking against plans.
