Technical Project Manager
Job Description
Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for an operational Technical Project Manager with a telecommunications or broadcast background.
- We need experience and knowledge in project management and service delivery for either telecommunications or sports broadcast environments.
- We require expert-level Office 365 or G-Suite skills, with excellent working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- We look for knowledge of broadcast environments and workflows, including experience working with satellite and broadcast operators.
- Experience with modern project management applications such as ClickUp, Monday, Wrike, and Asana is required.
- Familiarity with telecommunications products and technologies such as wavelength, dark fibre, and managed Ethernet is needed.
- Strong technical and non-technical documentation writing skills are required, including project scoping, executive summaries, and status reports.
- Proven experience in project management or service delivery within a related industry is required.
- PRINCE2 qualifications are advantageous.
- We need excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical individuals.

- Manage service delivery of customer solutions, including engagement with suppliers and ensuring deadlines are met for upcoming events and permanent deployments.
- Coordinate the delivery of telecommunications connectivity from order to handoff.
- Coordinate logistics for upcoming events.
- Coordinate quotations and ordering, including negotiating with suppliers, obtaining detailed quotations and invoices, inputting data, and managing costs.
- Manage key projects from initiation to completion, interpreting project requirements and ensuring they are executed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to deliver internal and external projects successfully.
- Ensure schedules are optimal, maximise available time, and minimise project risk.
- Proactively identify and highlight potential project risks to the management team, including capacity issues, resource issues, and external factors.
- Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluate progress and quality, manage issue resolution, and complete project documentation.
- Work across multiple disciplines in a start-up environment.
