Job Description

Salary: £34,000 - 38,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Experience demonstrating compliance with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or GCP, with Azure preferred
  • Experience with security frameworks including NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls and MITRE ATT&CK
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture principles
  • Knowledge of secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices, including SAST, DAST, container/image scanning and CI/CD security
  • Maintained awareness of emerging threats and vulnerability research
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Systems Management tools
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes
  • Demonstrable experience in at least five of the following areas: Cloud Security adoption and migration, governance, data governance, app and systems development security, asset management including MDM, identity and access management, network and endpoint security, logging/monitoring/retention, threat intelligence/automation/orchestration, configuration and vulnerability management
  • Typically 7+ years experience in Information Security or IT, with 3+ years in an architecture-focused role
  • Relevant certifications preferred, such as CISSP, SABSA, CCSP, CISM or cloud-specific security certifications
Responsibilities:
  • Support projects and initiatives in an advisory capacity as a security SME
  • Design secure architectures for networks, systems, applications and cloud environments in line with business and regulatory requirements
  • Assess and architect guardrails for AI agents with tool-use and autonomous action capabilities
  • Secure LLM and generative AI deployments, including prompt injection defences, output validation, data leakage prevention and model access controls
  • Understand data governance for AI training data, including sensitive data handling, PII redaction and data poisoning risks
  • Identify and provide requirements to projects and initiatives
  • Review proposed technical solutions to ensure they meet security requirements and provide implementation governance
  • Produce and maintain architectural artefacts, including designs, standards, patterns and reference architectures
  • Supply security requirements into projects and RFI/RFPs
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies and vendors
  • Drive improvements and support compliance through the execution of our security strategy
  • Mentor engineering and IT teams on secure design principles
  • Support and influence technical strategy
