Delivery Security Architect

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong background in Security Architecture.
• Experience delivering secure-by-design practices and frameworks.
• Cloud security expertise.
• Ability to articulate security risks in clear business language rather than technical jargon.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience within Financial Services, Government, Insurance, or similar regulated environments.
• Consulting mindset with strong client-facing skills.
• Able to bring diverse industry experience and apply best practices across different sectors.
• Comfortable working across multiple concurrent requirements and changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver secure-by-design solutions across a range of projects.
• Provide security architecture expertise covering infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise environments.
• Conduct security risk assessments and communicate risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support a diverse range of requirements, from cloud-based solutions to physical security and data centre initiatives.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure security is embedded throughout project lifecycles.

We are looking for an experienced Security Architect to support a large public sector programme on a remote contract paying 650 - 700 GBP. We work across a varied portfolio of security requirements, providing secure-by-design guidance and architectural oversight for both technology and physical security initiatives. The role spans infrastructure, cloud, enterprise, physical security, and data centre initiatives, and requires collaboration with business and technical teams to embed security throughout project lifecycles.
