Scala Developer

Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with Scala
• Comfortable working with functional programming principles
• Experience building scalable, cloud-based services
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Public sector experience
• Ability to work under BPSS clearance (no higher clearance required)

We are supporting a public sector client on one of the UKs most significant digital identity initiatives, used by millions nationwide. This is a remote-first contract role with occasional onsite workshops or meetings once a month. The assignment is a 3-month rolling SOW, offered at a rate of 530 a day inside IR35. We are looking for a skilled Scala Developer to join a team focused on secure, reliable, user-centric services.
