Job Description

Salary: £44,000 - 76,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience deploying technology solutions in complex environments and supporting production operations
  • Hands-on experience using GenAI and Agentic AI technology to solve real-world problems
  • Familiarity with agentic coding and/or coworking tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor, and the ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Working knowledge of operational and AI risk considerations in regulated environments, including reliability, security, safety, and explainability
  • Ability to collaborate in high-performing teams, communicate clearly, and contribute to shared reusable assets
Responsibilities:
  • Build domain-specific agents and tools as part of our new AI Productivity Lab
  • Work alongside Principal Engineers and the Head of the Lab to rapidly prototype, iterate, and embed solutions into real business processes
  • Contribute to reusable knowledge assets
  • Integrate secure, enterprise-grade solutions
  • Support adoption by collaborating with business teams to embed agentic working into day-to-day operations

We are looking for Lead Engineers to join our new AI Productivity Lab, which is focused on accelerating internal AI-driven employee productivity and process automation using the latest agentic co-working technologies. The role is based in Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, or Manchester and follows a hybrid working pattern, with at least two days per week or 40% of time spent in one of our office sites.
