Consultant/Manager SAP S/4HANA Tax Transformation

Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven track record of successful SAP tax solution design and end-to-end implementation in global settings.
• Strong client-facing consulting skills, including gathering requirements, managing expectations, and building relationships.
• Understanding of SAP FI/SD/MM modules, including the setup of underlying SAP business processes and their interplay with tax processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in matrix teams and manage diverse stakeholder groups.
• Good understanding of tax touchpoints with additional SAP integrated modules/add-ons is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with SAP technical components and the ability to read SAP ABAP code is desirable.
• Strong data analysis skills, including SQL, ETL tools, and Alteryx/KNIME, are desirable.
• Experience with tax engines and their SAP integration is desirable.
• Experience with e-invoicing platforms/providers is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Lead client engagements by conducting workshops, analysing tax and business needs, and designing optimal SAP tax solutions.
• Assess tax touchpoints across end-to-end business processes to ensure comprehensive solution design.
• Design, build, and integrate tax requirements into SAP systems and broader tax technology landscapes.
• Evaluate the business impact of technical decisions, balancing functionality with operational efficiency.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues while fostering strong client relationships.
• Contribute to proposals, process documentation, and project updates to ensure transparency and stakeholder alignment.
• Adhere to risk management and engagement acceptance protocols, upholding professional standards.
• Thrive in a diverse and inclusive team environment and actively contribute to shared perspectives.
