BI Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £30,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- Have experience in numerical, analytical, and problem-solving roles within a product or service-related industry
- Degree or post-graduate qualification in a numerical/analytical subject, or equivalent business experience
- Proven experience in a numerical, analytical, and problem-solving role
- Experience with or willingness to learn coding languages such as SQL or Python
- Familiarity with business intelligence/data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Thoughtspot, PowerBI)
- Practical database skills, with a focus on data extraction and transformation
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
- Ability to deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Organised, motivated, and adaptable to change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams
- Eagerness to learn and stay up to date with the latest in data analytics and visualisation
- Can be in our fantastic Luton head office 3 x per week
- Support and grow the BI Analyst community, championing best practices and data fluency
- Analyse complex datasets and perform ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions
- Work with senior team members to establish and monitor KPIs and other performance metrics
- Design and deliver technical training for analytical tools and ways of working
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ensure data tools and reports are well-documented and accessible
- Manage multiple projects independently, delivering accurate and impactful results
- Analyse and report on business performance data
- Develop reports, visualisations, and presentations that turn complex data into actionable insights
