Senior Data Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- 5+ years in Data Analytics / BI, with proven Power BI delivery in production
- Advanced Power BI experience, including data modelling and DAX
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience with enterprise data warehouses, medallion architecture, and Kimball methodology
- Strong grasp of BI performance optimisation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse and Dataflows Gen2
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Azure, AWS, or GCP experience is a plus
- Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines and governance is a plus
- Python or R scripting experience is a plus
- Power BI or Fabric certifications are a plus
- Design and maintain enterprise Power BI solutions, including semantic models, reports, and dashboards
- Build scalable data models using star schema and Kimball methodology
- Develop advanced DAX measures
- Use Power Query (M) for data transformation
- Optimise report and dataset performance
- Manage deployment across environments
- Implement governance standards, including naming conventions, documentation, and RLS
- Validate data via SQL
- Translate business requirements into BI solutions across Finance, HR, R&D, and other teams
