Senior User Researcher

Salary: £56,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Senior User Researcher.
• Experience delivering research within large, complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies.
• Ability to independently select and apply a variety of research methods.
• Experience conducting research with specialist users and complex user groups.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Government or wider public sector experience.
• Minimum of 2 years operating at Senior User Researcher level.
• Active SC Clearance or lapsed SC Clearance capable of transfer/reactivation.
• Experience within cyber security, risk, assurance or security-focused services.
• Experience establishing or improving user research practices and functions.
• Experience working on complex business-critical digital services.
• Previous experience within central government or large public sector programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of user research activities across complex services and programmes.
• Plan and deliver end-to-end user research activities.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
• Identify user needs and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Work closely with service designers, content designers, delivery managers and technical teams.
• Engage with specialist user groups and complex stakeholder communities.
• Present research findings to senior stakeholders and influence service decisions.
• Support user-centred design best practice within multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver research at pace within an agile delivery environment.

AgileSource are looking for an SC Cleared Senior User Researcher for an initial 6 month contract. The role is 1 day per week, with London preferred, and pays £600 - £650 per day inside IR35. Start date is subject to SC transfer. We are seeking an experienced Senior User Researcher to join a high-profile programme delivering complex digital services within a large public sector environment.
