Requirements:

• Proficient in systems analysis techniques, with the ability to impact proposals and perform system and high-level design analysis.
• Able to communicate effectively with people who have differing levels of IT knowledge and skill.
• Able to use data modelling techniques.
• Experience with the Windows suite and MS Office applications.
• Strong experience in requirements and analysis in large-scale and/or multi-project environments.
• Experience in data capture and data analysis.
• RUP experience.
• Detailed understanding of systems life cycles, particularly the requirements and analysis phases.
• Ability to build and maintain good client relationships.
• Flexible approach with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Resilient with the ability to deal with conflict management.

We are hiring a Business Analyst for a 4-month umbrella-only assignment based in Telford, with 2 to 3 days onsite. The role supports Making Tax Digital (MTD), a major transformation of the UK tax system designed to integrate digital tools into day-to-day tax activities and create a single, up-to-date view of customer tax affairs in one modern, robust IT system. We are looking for a multi-disciplined individual who can identify and efficiently convey customer requirements through IT systems skills, communication, and understanding.
