VMWare Lead Architect - VCF Specialist

Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience completing VCF 9.1 design(s)
• Experience completing VCF 9.0.x/5.2.x design(s)
• Proven track record in upgrade projects (VCF 5.x to VCF 9.x)
• Broad technical knowledge of the VCF stack at infrastructure level (VCF/NSX/VCF Operations/VCF Automation/vSphere Supervisor/VCF Operations for Networks/VCF Ops HCX/VKS)
• Deeper technical expertise in one or more of the above areas
• Broad understanding of automation tooling (Ansible, Harness, Salt, Kubernetes, GitOps) and the software development lifecycle
• Ability to collaborate with and support global remote teams across multiple cultures
• Awareness and ability to navigate complexities and politics of multiple vendors and business entities
• SC clearance required

Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of contact for delivery teams, providing process and technical guidance
• Assist and support partner architects in requirements and design workshops
• Create and manage a Requirements Traceability Matrix to ensure business outcomes are delivered
• Peer review designs and technical documentation alongside the Governance Architect
• Collaborate with the Lead PM on project planning, forecasting, and reporting
• Provide input for weekly reports, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and SteerCos
