Java Developer

Salary: £43,000 - 73,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience developing stable, scalable Java applications and services.
• Experience with mathematics related to statistics, standard deviation, and probability, ideally to A level or higher.
• Experience with mathematics associated with game design.
• Experience in Java development.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile software development methodologies.
• Preferable: experience coding algorithms.
• Preferable: experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot.
• Preferable: experience with SQL and RDBMS methodology.
• Preferable: experience with Git, Maven, and Nexus.
• Preferable: experience with continuous integration.
• Preferable: experience with Docker.
• Preferable: experience with MySQL.

Responsibilities:

• Build game engines on our current GMR Game Engine Framework.
• Extend the Game Engine Framework to accommodate unique game designs.
• Build improvements into the core Game Engine Framework.
• Build tools and systems to improve game simulation and RTP calculation.
• Give design recommendations.
• Improve and maintain the current codebase.
