Software Engineer C# .Net Low Latency

Salary: £28,000 - 49,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require strong C# .Net skills and a good understanding of design patterns such as SOLID, DRY and KISS.
• We require experience working on systems that need high throughput, low latency and scalability, with an understanding of the challenges involved.
• We require strong experience building APIs.
• We require SQL experience.
• We require a good understanding of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform.
• We require cloud experience with AWS.
• We value familiarity with other languages such as Java and an openness to learning new things.
• We value comfort using agentic AI tools to help improve productivity.
• We value collaborative communication skills and the ability to mentor more junior developers.

Responsibilities:

• We collaborate with DevOps and Product Management within an Agile team environment.
• We work on a Greenfield Market Data platform built with C# and deployed to AWS.
• We contribute across the full development lifecycle, from requirements and design through to production.
• We provide subject matter expertise on the .Net stack.
• We contribute to technical design discussions.
• We use a range of technologies including Apache Flink with Java for large-scale data processing.
• We assess and recommend new and emerging technologies, using the best tool for the job.
