Quantitative Analyst - Model Development Team

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• Masters degree in a quantitative discipline such as Financial Engineering
• Programming and model development experience in Excel/VBA and Python or R
• Ability to solve problems using critical, rational, and creative thinking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly
• Strong work ethic and a strong team-player mindset
• Prior experience in credit risk, financial/cashflow, or statistical modelling, with hands-on exposure in Excel/VBA, Python or R
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage timelines across multiple projects

Responsibilities:

• Gain and leverage knowledge of credit modelling, rating methodology, and criteria
• Contribute to the development of models across sectors including Corporates, Infrastructure and Project Finance, Financial Institutions, and Governments and Public Finance
• Work with other specialists to research, design, implement, and enhance models
• Conduct comprehensive testing and prepare model documentation
• Contribute to team initiatives such as trainings, research projects, and user/client support
