Senior Software Engineer - Hardware Robotics

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Demonstrable relevant experience as a robotics engineer working on commercial software, ideally in C#.
• Additional experience with C++ or Python would be desirable.
• Any experience with ROS would be beneficial.
• Hands-on experience working closely with hardware and testing software on physical machines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with other stakeholders.
• A computer science, electronics, or physics degree is expected.
• Enjoy solving hard technical problems.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
• The role is based fully onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Take a lead on some projects while contributing within the team on others.
• Work closely with our Product Owner and other key stakeholders.
• Write code as an individual contributor.
• Test robots within their working conditions.
• Investigate data logs and user feedback.
• Deliver changes for production.
• Work as part of a team to tackle varied challenges.
