Senior FinOps / Cloud Optimisation Analyst

Salary: £28,000 - 68,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive FinOps knowledge
• FinOps Practitioner Certification is required; FinOps Certified Engineer is desired
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Certifications in AZ900 and AWS Certified Practitioner; AZ104 and AWS Certified Solutions Architect are desired
• Extensive experience in multi-cloud cost optimisation
• Experience with cloud cost management tooling such as CloudHealth, Cloudability, Flexera, and native tools
• Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders within an enterprise customer
• Ability to proactively use personal and team skillsets to solve problems and support more junior team members
• Ownership of learning and development

Responsibilities:

• Form trusted advisor relationships with enterprise-scale clients
• Act as a FinOps SME within our business
• Set long-term goals with customers, develop strategies to achieve them, and lead initiatives to drive FinOps adoption across the organization
• Use industry-leading cloud management tooling and native tooling to proactively leverage FinOps data
• Provide detailed reporting on cost visibility and optimisation, ensuring insights reach the right stakeholders on the client side
• Provide break/fix support for cloud management solutions and use ServiceNow as the ticketing system
• Continuously improve FinOps processes and practices by identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and staying current with industry trends and development
• Develop and drive the service forward by proactively identifying efficiency opportunities within the team
• Run 1-to-1s with team members
• Mentor junior staff
