Audio Visual Technical Project Manager

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar Technical Project Manager role within an audio-visual environment
• Experience of budget management
• Experience managing teams
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
• Technical knowledge and understanding of equipment and specifications
• Driving licence, ideally

Responsibilities:

• Manage key projects with an administrative team to a high standard, with excellent customer service, quality on site, and protection of margins
• Manage larger projects from start to finish and provide technical support to project and service coordinators where applicable
• Be involved in handovers with the sales team and initial customer calls before passing work to the coordination team for installation
• Oversee the admin team on a daily basis and support project delivery
• Support the service contract coordinator where required
• Produce drawings, elevations, cable schedules, RAMS, and project meeting/scheduling documentation
• Manage in-house and external engineers, including appropriate insurances, vehicles, and PPE when required
• Demonstrate understanding of our products, services, and business processes, with a high level of technical knowledge to deliver solutions accurately
• Work with sales on a pre-sales basis when required for site visits and drawings
• Manage margins and budgets for each project
• Ensure the quality of equipment, cables, quotes, and engineers adheres to our standards
• Organise and deliver projects to our standards alongside the administrators
• Provide technical specification of jobs, cable schedules, and drawings where required
• Keep all R&M and training up to date
• Drive repeat business through quality work and customer delight
• Attend supplier and vendor training sessions where required
• Become certified on supplier/manufacturer accreditations where required
• Identify knowledge gaps and work with management to address them
