Software Development Engineer

Salary: £29,500 - 49,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require experience in professional, non-internship software development.
• We require experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# and using object-oriented design.
• We require experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• A bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
• We value experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Responsibilities:

• We design and build the software that supports our journey from recent acquisition to operating at Amazon scale.
• We work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other tech teams across Amazon.
• We help high-growth ecommerce businesses manage inventory and fulfillment through a unified platform.
• We contribute to building and improving systems that support orders, inventory, picking and packing, shipping, purchasing, reporting, and more.
