Job Description

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Experience and strong understanding of core Azure services, including compute, storage, security, monitoring, and diagnostics
  • Skilled in Kubernetes container orchestration platforms, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Highly proficient in C# with experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs in a CI/CD environment
  • Proactive, self-starting approach
  • Ownership mentality and care for what you build and how it runs in production
  • Collaborative mindset, including willingness to ask questions, share knowledge, support teammates, and coach or mentor less experienced engineers
  • Resilience and a positive attitude when faced with challenges or unfamiliar territory
  • Frontend web framework experience, preferably Angular
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of highly available and scalable SaaS platform services in Azure
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Azure DevOps
  • Engage with technical members in enabling teams responsible for the AVEVA CONNECT Platform
  • Proactively identify and communicate technical issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Design, build, and operate the services that provide our SaaS scheduling solution for the oil and gas industry
  • Work as part of a cross-functional product development team to ensure our solution addresses end-user needs and delights customers
