Job Description

Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Experience leading enterprise data products, data governance, and lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to align data product strategy with enterprise priorities, business outcomes, and OKRs.
  • Experience working across multiple business domains such as Underwriting, Claims, and Finance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders and executive-level forums.
  • Ability to shape, prioritise, and govern data demand and delivery portfolios.
  • Experience partnering with product owners, delivery teams, data domain owners, business data stewards, and IT teams.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage dependencies, sequencing, capacity, and delivery across complex initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Own the enterprise view of our data products, ensuring consistency in standards, governance, quality, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure our data products are trusted, consumable, governed, and valuable.
  • Drive adoption and value realisation across business domains.
  • Align our data product strategy to enterprise priorities and outcomes.
  • Act as the glue across domain-owned data products, ensuring alignment across functions and consistent prioritisation.
  • Manage interdependencies across products and domains.
  • Partner with data domain owners, business data stewards, strategic operations managers, IT delivery teams, and the wider Data Office.
  • Act as the central intake point for data-related demand into IT, shaping initiatives into a coherent, value-led portfolio.
  • Own and govern our data roadmap, ensuring alignment to business priorities, enterprise strategy, and OKRs.
  • Define priorities, outcomes, success measures, ownership, and accountability for initiatives.
  • Partner with product owners and delivery teams to agree sequencing, manage dependencies, and ensure delivery aligns to priorities and outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment between demand, prioritisation, and capacity to maximise value across data initiatives.
  • Lead forums to support prioritisation, decision-making, and progress tracking.
  • Act as the primary interface between the business, Data, and IT, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and engagement across stakeholders.
  • Engage senior stakeholders to shape demand, challenge priorities, and drive accountability for outcomes and value delivery.
  • Represent data product priorities and outcomes in governance forums, including executive and SteerCo-level discussions.
  • Build strong relationships across functions to support collaboration and alignment across the enterprise.
