Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: £44,000 - 72,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for candidates with knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
• We require non-internship professional software development experience.
• We require experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• We require hands-on experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and systems engineering.
• We require programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
• Preferred: experience with Ansible, PowerShell, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things, Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.
• We will have you help build and operate distributed systems at massive scale.
• We will have you design and build tools and utilities used by AWS internal services.
• We will have you join a new team pioneering automated build and deployment of Windows-based services.
• We will have you build Ansible-based infrastructure as code.
• We will have you create custom integrations with existing and new Windows services.
• We will have you support a code-first, hands-off CI/CD approach to drive operational excellence and cross-environment parity.
