Pre-Sales Solution Architect (AI)

Salary: £57,000 - 97,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an AI Solutions Architect with 8+ years of related industry experience.
• We value strong technical skills and a deep understanding of application delivery and security in the AI era.
• We prefer experience as an evangelist, thought leader, and mentor in the AI field.
• We look for experience working with strategic business opportunities.
• We value knowledge of AI best practices, the AI technology landscape, and the broader ecosystem.
• We expect familiarity with AI application architectures and components, including Large Language Models, orchestrators, agents, and tools.
• We prefer knowledge of AI infrastructure and data center network designs and reference architectures, including east-west and north-south traffic patterns.
• Knowledge of Nvidia reference architectures is preferred.
• We value knowledge of the current AI app security ecosystem and its challenges.
• We look for experience with storage technologies and architectures for efficient data delivery in AI training, fine-tuning, and inference.
• We value advanced use of AI tools for content search, analysis, generation, task automation, and potentially vibe coding.
• We expect knowledge of cloud-native application design patterns, including Kubernetes, APIs, microservices, and service mesh.
• We value advanced knowledge of business outcome-focused architecture, engineering, and operations practices.
• We require the ability to communicate and present technical concepts to executives and business leaders.
• We prefer extensive experience delivering business-driven solution demonstrations and presentations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience speaking at industry or customer events and publishing whitepapers, solution articles, blogs, or tech tips is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of F5 solutions is required.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
• We consider a BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of AI Factory reference architectures is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• We identify and work on strategic opportunities within AI infrastructure and AI applications and provide technical expertise to embed our technology in those opportunities.
• We act as evangelists and thought leaders in the AI technology and business area.
• We collaborate with other Solution Architects and internal business leaders to share ideas, identify customer pain points and industry trends, and determine appropriate solutions.
• We advocate for customer needs, high-value use cases, and innovative ideas with product management and services teams.
• We work closely with Product Management and services teams and provide technical and business feedback for product design, architecture, launches, and updates.
• We provide mentorship to the Solution Engineering community as needed.
• We serve as the liaison between Sales and Marketing, Product Management, and Product Engineering.
• We educate our solution engineering team internally and externally through whitepapers, training, blogs, tech tips, presentations, and more.
