Service Owner

Salary: £64,000 - 104,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require active security clearance.
• We require proven background in Service Owner Management.
• We require significant experience as a Service Owner or Deputy Service Owner in cloud transformation programs.
• We require a deep understanding of the GDS Service Standard and a proven track record of guiding services through the Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live phases.
• We require expertise in owning, developing, or enhancing digital workplace, collaboration, productivity, end-user computing, knowledge management, or AI-enabled services.
• We require strong experience leading multidisciplinary teams across product management, user-centered design, architecture, business analysis, suppliers, and service management.
• We require experience developing or contributing to business cases, including cost modelling, benefits realization, service transition, and workforce planning.
• We require strong capabilities in governance, assurance, and risk management, including supporting service boards and executive reporting.
• We require a practical understanding of ITIL 4 and its application in agile service delivery environments.
• We consider experience working in Tier 2/3 secure environments within government or defence highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We will own and manage the Digital Workplace & AI service.
• We will guide services through the Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live phases.
• We will develop or enhance digital workplace, collaboration, productivity, end-user computing, knowledge management, or AI-enabled services.
• We will lead multidisciplinary teams across product management, user-centered design, architecture, business analysis, suppliers, and service management.
• We will contribute to business cases, including cost modelling, benefits realization, service transition, and workforce planning.
• We will support governance, assurance, and risk management activities.
• We will support service boards, executive reporting, and senior stakeholder decision-making.
