IT Support Technician

Salary: £27,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a hands-on IT support role, or a level 3 IT Support certification.
• Good working knowledge of Windows 7/10/11 and Windows Server.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Intune.
• Good working knowledge of email and antivirus applications.
• Good working knowledge of PC, Mac, and laptop installation, diagnostics, and fault finding.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, switches, routers, and cabling.

Responsibilities:

• We provide customer support to shop customers using PCs, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
• We visit local clients onsite to fix software and networking issues.
• We provide remote support to customers.
• We support Office 365 access and resolve PC, printer, and network router issues.

We are recruiting an IT Support Technician for our long-established client in the Swadlincote area. This is a full-time, office-based role working Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. There is a significant level of customer contact, so strong customer service skills are important. We also visit local customers onsite, and fuel expenses are paid.
