Data Architect

Salary: £53,000 - 93,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive background in Data Architecture, AWS, Databricks, and MongoDB.
• Deep understanding of UK Specialty Insurance and Reinsurance.
• Strong familiarity with FCA and PRA regulations, and Solvency II reporting.
• Proven experience with insurance data models and reporting structures.
• 12+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
• Define and execute enterprise data architecture and cloud data strategies.
• Design scalable Lakehouse architectures using AWS and Databricks.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Lead data modernization and cloud migration projects.
• Establish frameworks for data governance, security, lineage, and quality.
• Collaborate with business leaders, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Mentor data engineers and technical project teams.
