Senior Fullstack Engineer - Servicing, FinCrime

Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong engineering background in Java or other JVM languages
• Experience building performant, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and testable code
• Understanding of test coverage best practices, the test pyramid concept, and code reviews
• Experience designing and implementing distributed, concurrent systems
• Understanding of tradeoffs between stateful and stateless, and synchronous and asynchronous architectures
• Ability to break down complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver customer value
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical and cross-functional audiences

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy resilient backend microservices in Java and build intuitive, accessible frontends using React and TypeScript
• Build centralized tools that aggregate data across multiple fincrime topologies to create a 360-degree view of customer risk
• Own and develop common components of our risk mitigation handling
• Ensure our Servicing Agents have scalable, standardized workflows
• Break down complex bottlenecks in our servicing and compliance processes and deliver adaptable platform solutions
• Take ownership of the product journey from identifying a problem through to creating an execution plan and shipping to production
