Lead Solutions Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year
Requirements:- Extensive clearing experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and data application, including hands-on experience with major data visualization platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of data analytics techniques, with experience in developing and interpreting models, diagrams, and data-driven insights.
- Proven ability to apply technical fluency in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies to drive innovative solutions.
- Understanding of the trade lifecycle and back-office functions: clearing, margining, settlements, collateral, interest, accounting, and cash management.
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support solutions analysis workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted analyses and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
- Strong track record of leading through change, navigating ambiguous situations, and managing dependencies in complex projects.
- Experience of working with AWS in an investment banking context, particularly in a Futures & Options department, preferred.
- Experience with FIX protocol, Java, and Kafka, preferred.
- Some experience providing production support in a Level 2/Level 3 capacity, preferred.
- Experience with heap analysis, profiling, and similar troubleshooting techniques, preferred.
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and data flow requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and technical feasibility.
- Lead multiple teams from an Agile scrum leader perspective.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide strategic guidance and innovative solutions for complex projects.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate requirements synthesis and solution optioning, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
- Partner with internal and external vendor tech teams to develop realistic and achievable project and fix estimates and manage key relationships.
- Model the design and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract insights from large, diverse datasets, driving data-informed decision-making and supporting key business initiatives.
- Mentor and guide team members in the application of technical writing and analytical reasoning skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for analysis and documentation across the team, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
