Senior AI Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £75,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong Python engineering background, ideally 5+ years of experience
- Experience building AI and LLM solutions in production environments
- Knowledge of RAG, AI agents, and modern AI frameworks
- AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Experience with CI/CD, containerisation, and scalable architecture
- A curious mindset and passion for solving real-world problems
- Bonus points for experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries
- Bonus points for React or frontend exposure
- Bonus points for MLOps, Data Science, or DevOps experience
- Bonus points for familiarity with ISO27001 environments
- Design and build scalable Python backend services
- Develop AI-powered products using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows
- Create APIs and integrations for enterprise clients
- Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
- Drive innovation and contribute to technical strategy
- Collaborate with a small, highly experienced engineering team
