Senior AI Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong Python engineering background, ideally 5+ years of experience
• Experience building AI and LLM solutions in production environments
• Knowledge of RAG, AI agents, and modern AI frameworks
• AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience
• Experience with CI/CD, containerisation, and scalable architecture
• A curious mindset and passion for solving real-world problems
• Bonus points for experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries
• Bonus points for React or frontend exposure
• Bonus points for MLOps, Data Science, or DevOps experience
• Bonus points for familiarity with ISO27001 environments

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable Python backend services
• Develop AI-powered products using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows
• Create APIs and integrations for enterprise clients
• Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
• Drive innovation and contribute to technical strategy
• Collaborate with a small, highly experienced engineering team
