Senior DevOps / SRE

Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
• We require a proven background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or cloud operations.
• We require strong Python skills, including using Python for automation, tooling, and operational engineering.
• We require hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• We require experience supporting and operating production systems at scale.
• We require strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root-cause analysis skills.
• We require an understanding of reliability, scalability, observability, and performance engineering.
• We require a collaborative approach with a strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• We support and operate cloud-native applications within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• We build and maintain reliable, scalable production systems with a strong SRE focus.
• We monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while driving continuous reliability improvements.
• We use Python to automate operational tasks, tooling, integrations, and platform enhancements.
• We manage Kubernetes environments and containerised workloads.
• We develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable deployments.
• We manage infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• We implement best practices around observability, monitoring, incident response, and platform resilience.
• We collaborate with engineering teams to improve operational performance and system reliability.

We are offering a hybrid DevOps Engineer opportunity in London, with two days a week onsite and an Inside IR35 rate of £750.00 - £820.00.
