Founding AI Engineer

Salary: £100,000 - 140,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for 5+ years of experience in Applied AI, ML, or MLOps.
• We need strong Python skills and experience building production AI systems.
• We value experience with LLMs, Generative AI, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows.
• We are looking for exposure to AI infrastructure, deployment, evaluation, or optimisation.
• We want a startup mindset with a hands-on, product-focused approach.
• Computer vision, video, VFX, rendering, or graphics experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• We will own AI engineering end to end.
• We will work directly with our founders and contribute to technical direction.
• We will build cutting-edge agentic workflows and AI-powered video tools.
• We will help improve product quality and infrastructure efficiency.
• We will work on greenfield AI engineering challenges in a fast-moving startup environment.
• We will develop practical AI systems using modern AI tooling.

We are a pre-seed video and computer vision startup building cutting-edge agentic workflows and AI-powered video tools for large-scale media environments. We already have multiple deals signed and are running frontier AI models in production, making this a rare opportunity to join as our first dedicated AI hire. This is a founding-level role with high autonomy, direct collaboration with our founders, equity, and the chance to make a significant impact on our product and technical direction. The role is based in London on a hybrid basis, with one day a fortnight in our London office. We offer a salary of £100,000 to £140,000, equity, free parking, on-site parking, and work from home flexibility.
