Radar System Modelling Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience developing system-level models for radars and their interactions in busy RF environments using MATLAB, Simulink, or Python
• Good knowledge of signal processing algorithm development and validation
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop development of radar systems
• UK nationality, as some work is defence related and requires UK security clearance

Responsibilities:

• Develop computational models that simulate radar systems and how multiple systems interact
• Use models to explore new architectures and signal processing algorithms
• Model the effects of modern electronic warfare
• Develop countermeasures to improve resilience in challenging RF environments
• Contribute to a growing R&D team working at the forefront of radar systems development
• Work fully onsite and travel internationally to visit clients when required
