Radar System Modelling Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year
Requirements:- Experience developing system-level models for radars and their interactions in busy RF environments using MATLAB, Simulink, or Python
- Good knowledge of signal processing algorithm development and validation
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop development of radar systems
- UK nationality, as some work is defence related and requires UK security clearance
- Develop computational models that simulate radar systems and how multiple systems interact
- Use models to explore new architectures and signal processing algorithms
- Model the effects of modern electronic warfare
- Develop countermeasures to improve resilience in challenging RF environments
- Contribute to a growing R&D team working at the forefront of radar systems development
- Work fully onsite and travel internationally to visit clients when required
