IT Technician Apprentice

Salary: £24,000 - 24,000 per year

Requirements:

• Passionate about technology and eager to build a career in IT
• Curious, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
• Organised with good attention to detail
• A confident communicator who enjoys helping others
• Able to work well as part of a team
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent, or willingness to work towards Functional Skills if required
• Must have resided in the UK or EEA for at least 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship
• Must not have already completed a Level 3 IT Solutions Technician apprenticeship

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Support Windows, Apple, and Chrome devices
• Install and configure new equipment and software
• Help maintain audio-visual equipment and classroom technology
• Support systems including telephony, visitor management, and CCTV
• Keep accurate records using our IT service management system
• Travel between our local schools to provide on-site technical support
• Deliver excellent customer service to colleagues across our schools
